The JLA are committed to working with local government, landlords & tenants to promote an environment in which their relationships may thrive.
With this commitment in mind, we are aiming at creating a page specifically designed to aid and assist landlords to understand what minimum property standards they must provide & what paperwork should be included with their tenancies to meet regulatory requirements.
COMING SOON - Qualifying JLA Members will have the use of the JLA's Responsible Landlord Award to demonstrate they are;

Commit to limiting rent increases to below the Jersey Retail Price Index (JRPI).
This award can be displayed as an email footer or when advertising properties for rent etc.
The JLA's Responsible Landlord Award is a mark of trust, recognising landlords who prioritise tenant communication, maintain high standards beyond legal requirements, and commit to fair rent increases - below JRPI.
